McGinley was delighted to compete in Berkeley Foundation’s recent annual five-a-side football tournament at Powerleague Wembley. We were proud to be part of this tournament which has significantly contributed to raising £48,072 for the Demelz Hospice Care for Children.
The winners and runners-up of each group were entered into the Cup competition, third and fourth placed teams were entered into the Plate competition and bottom placed teams were entered into the Wooden Spoon competition.
The tournament saw 36 teams play some great football with some bad football and a little bit of handbags. After many hours of play, Team McGinley (represented by both McGinley Directors and staff) were crowned overall winners on penalties (3-2) in the final of the Cup competition!
Colm McGinley said: "This was a great tournament and we are delighted to not only have won, but are also honoured to support our Client in the excellent charitable work they are doing for Demelz Hospice Care for Children. We hope to be part of the next one!"
